Ashlyn Miller may be a first-year faculty member, but she is no stranger to Presentation College.
Before joining the work force here at PC, Ashlyn was a junior college transfer out of Porterville (CA) and played volleyball for our Saints during the 2018 and 2019 seasons and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business during the spring semester of 2020.
“This became my new home; I created a family here that I was not ready to leave yet.” Is what Ashlyn Miller had to say when asked about why she decided to stick around at PC instead of pursuing opportunities elsewhere. Indeed, the family culture that seems to be around Presentation College seems to be felt by everyone.
So what exactly does Ashlyn Do? She is an admissions counselor, which summed up shortly means she works primarily with Junior College transfers to make sure their transcripts are all set and that they will be eligible to start classes as soon as the semester kicks off. She also reaches out to potential students and informs them on any questions they have and fills them in on the benefits of attending Presentation College.
If you ever want to pay Ashlyn a visit, just go to room 245 in the main building and she will greet you with a smile on her face and a bucket full of candy, and if you go on a Monday, you may even get to see our beloved school mascot, Spirit.
