Saints Take down Hawks in OT

The Saints were led by a two-headed beast in the forms of Mychal Deas and Quadre Lollis in a North Star Athletic Association Conference game against Viterbo University in which the Saints won 75-68.

Deas and Lollis combined to score 40 points and accumulated over half of the Saints points.

Deas scored a team high of 21pts and led the team with 5 3-pointers.

Lollis recorded 19 points, and led the team with 12 rebounds, earning himself a double-double for the night.

Elijah Coleman and Jalen Guidry combined for 19 points with each notching one steal as well. Guidry also led the team with 8 assists which gave the Saints the edge they needed over Viterbo University.

Although our Presentation College Saints managed to get the victory, they didn’t make it easy on themselves with 11 missed free throws as well as being down for most of the game.

Still, the saints rallied together for a 75-68 win after a close overtime game proving once again that resilience isn’t taught, but is built into each of these players and shows each time they take the court.
