By Alexander Karp

The Presentation College Women’s Basketball team (7-11; 3-2 in NSAA) showed a lot of pride and passion, but were simply outplayed when the Saints fell 85-74 to Waldorf University in a North Star Athletic Association Conference matchup at the Strode Saturday.

Three Saints were in double digits with Victoria Stewart leading the team with 15 points.

While she was flying around scoring points, she also sank two 3-pointers and topped off her performance with two steals and five assists.

She was truly captivating as she did her best to try and give the Lady Saints a chance to pull away for the lead.

Karly Sanchez also contributed with 10 points, including two 3-pointers and a team high three steals, while Allison Cox scored eight points and led the Saints with 10 assists.

April Hudelson and Jada Campbell combined for 24 points. Hudelson led the Saints with eight rebounds.

With a game like this, the Saints are on their way to newborn success as long as they keep their heads high and continue to apply pressure.
