Austin Eggl’s graduation will signify a tremendous loss to the PC Saint Football Program. The senior from Minot, ND has been a part of the football program for the past four seasons and was an offensive coordinator’s dream. He understood not only what his job and responsibilities were but also what was needed and expected from everyone on the field. He was the true definition of a field general.
Throughout his career, Eggl passed for 9,831 yards, 105 touchdowns, posted a 132.1 QB efficiency rating, and completed 60% of his passes. These are numbers that will be hard to replicate as the program moves forward. Eggl was also a NAIA scholar athlete and all-conference selection for the Saints in 2018. In addition, Eggl broke the North Star Athletic Conference record in passing yards in a season (3,011), ranks second all-time in touchdowns in a season (30), and top 3 in QB efficiency (132.1).
