The fresh-faced Presentation College men’s basketball team is getting set to turn to a new chapter in the program’s history.
The 2018-2019 men’s basketball team will be returning five players from last year’s team. Tayton Maher and Sean Schuring, both sophomores, and Andrew Woodward, a junior, are all returning for this new season. Mychal Deas and Quadre Lollis both returned for their senior seasons and will serve as captains for the Saints this season.
The life blood of this year’s team will be the influx of transfers that the program has brought in. The team is hoping to get a big boost from the six players that were brought in, five being juniors along with one senior.
This season will open on October 24th with a road game against the University of Jamestown. The first home game will be a battle against Providence College on October 26th at 8:00 PM in the Strode Activity Center. On November 3rd and 4th, the men will head to Sioux Falls to take part in the SD NAIA Classic – Stanford Pentagon Tournament, where they will face off against Mount Marty College and Dakota Wesleyan University. They will also take part in the Isreal-Strong Memorial Tournament on November 8th and 9th, which is hosted by Presentation College.
